Alternative Energy

Access to properly prepared and equipped facilities at Historic Fort Wayne will allow AOMAI students and instructors to manufacture traditional machinery for contemporary alternative energy endeavors on private and public scales for generating wind power, hydroelectric energy, biomass fuel and geothermal heating systems.

WIND TURBINE:

Art Handworks Low Altitude Wind Turbine was a great success at its debut at the Detroit Makers Fair at the Henry Ford Museum July 31. It gained 4 blue ribbons from the Editors Choice and an Awesome Award. Most Astonishing was that it operated with almost no wind and wowed onlookers.
